Latest

Live Music now comes to Windows and Android, with a new home for downloads.

New

  • Messages. Chat with friends right in the Friends tab, and send them a song in one tap.
  • Visualiser. A live visualiser on its own screen, or glowing behind the big Now Playing view in the colours of the album art. Adjust its strength in Settings.
  • Weather. Tap the weather on Home to expand it for more detail, using your approximate or exact location.
  • Picture-in-picture. Keep a video playing in a floating window you can move and resize, even outside Live Music.
  • Video quality. Choose the quality of videos, and full screen now fills the screen and shows the video's title.
  • Right-click any song for quick options, including Add to Queue.
  • Rearrange your queue by dragging songs into the order you want.
  • Apple Music and TIDAL. See and control what's playing in those apps, just like Spotify (Mac and Windows).
  • Logged-in devices. See every device signed in to your account and log out any of them.
  • Permissions page in Settings, showing what Live Music can access and why.

Changed

  • Everything is free. The Free, Pro and Ultra plans have ended for now. Everyone gets every feature.
  • Dark theme is now true black.
  • Cleaner menus throughout, sized to fit in with everything around them.
  • Android: Spotify has been removed from the phone app. Songs from Spotify in your library play from YouTube instead.
